This classic 8-day route connects Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, the country’s best-known historic cities. Travellers experience monumental architecture, local craft quarters, old-city evenings and comfortable rail or air connections without adding remote desert stops.

Tour Plan

Arrival in Tashkent, airport transfer, hotel check-in and time to rest. See Independence Square, Amir Timur Square, Broadway and the city’s modern avenues.

Breakfast at the hotel. Explore the old city, including the Khast-Imam complex, Barak-Khan Madrasa and Chorsu Bazaar. Travel to Samarkand by high-speed train and transfer to the hotel. Visit Registan Square and its three monumental madrasas.

Breakfast at the hotel. Discover Gur-e-Amir, the mausoleum of Amir Timur and the Timurid dynasty. Walk through the blue-tiled necropolis of Shah-i-Zinda. Visit Bibi-Khanum Mosque and browse the colourful Siab Bazaar. Visit Ulugh Beg Observatory and the Afrosiab Museum.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Konigil village for a demonstration of traditional Samarkand paper-making. Travel to Bukhara by train and transfer to the old city hotel. Arrival in Bukhara, hotel check-in and an evening walk around Lyabi-Hauz.
