A broad 12-day Uzbekistan circuit linking Tashkent and the Chimgan Mountains with the craft traditions of Kokand, Rishtan, Margilan and Fergana, followed by Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. It offers the widest variety of landscapes, workshops and historic cities among these packages.

Tour Plan

Arrival in Tashkent, airport transfer, hotel check-in and time to rest. See Independence Square, Amir Timur Square, Broadway and the city’s modern avenues. Welcome dinner with traditional Uzbek dishes.

Breakfast at the hotel. Explore the old city, including the Khast-Imam complex, Barak-Khan Madrasa and Chorsu Bazaar. Ride the Tashkent Metro and visit several of its most beautiful decorated stations.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive from Tashkent into the Western Tien Shan mountains. Ride the cable car at Amirsoy, weather and operating schedule permitting. Stop at Charvak Reservoir for panoramic views and a lakeside lunch. Take an easy guided walk in the Chimgan foothills, adapted to the group’s fitness level.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through the Kamchik Pass into the Fergana Valley. Visit Khudayar Khan Palace, Jami Mosque and the historic centre of Kokand. Check in at a central hotel in Kokand and enjoy a short evening walk.

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet ceramic masters in Rishtan and see the full process of blue-glazed pottery production. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant or family home. Walk through Fergana’s parks, market and broad avenues. Continue to Fergana, check in at the hotel and rest.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit a silk workshop in Margilan to see traditional ikat weaving and hand-dyeing. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant or family home. Return to Tashkent by train and transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Samarkand by high-speed train and transfer to the hotel. Visit Registan Square and its three monumental madrasas. Discover Gur-e-Amir, the mausoleum of Amir Timur and the Timurid dynasty.

Breakfast at the hotel. Walk through the blue-tiled necropolis of Shah-i-Zinda. Visit Bibi-Khanum Mosque and browse the colourful Siab Bazaar. Visit Ulugh Beg Observatory and the Afrosiab Museum. Visit Konigil village for a demonstration of traditional Samarkand paper-making.

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Bukhara by train and transfer to the old city hotel. Walk through the Po-i-Kalyan ensemble, trading domes, Magoki-Attori Mosque and Lyabi-Hauz. Enjoy free time and an evening atmosphere around Lyabi-Hauz.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Ark Citadel and Bolo-Hauz Mosque. See the Samanid Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub and the local market. Meet local artisans in embroidery, miniature painting, metalwork and carpet workshops.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive across the Kyzylkum landscape to Khiva, with comfort stops on the way. Arrival in Khiva, hotel check-in and free time inside the walled old city. Explore Ichan-Kala, including Ata-Darvaza, Kalta Minor, Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasa and Kunya-Ark. Climb a panoramic terrace for sunset views over the mud-brick skyline.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Tash-Hauli Palace, Islam Khoja complex, Juma Mosque and Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum. Transfer to the airport or railway station for departure.
